New Delhi, January 04: And the wait is over! Ending the suspense, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar finally shared the released date and the anthem of the upcoming multiplayer game, Fearless and United Guards.
The much-awaited game is going to release on the occasion of republic day 26 January. It should be noted that the FAU-G was initially scheduled to be launched in December 2020 but it was later postponed due to some technical issue.The game is developed by Bengaluru based Indian gaming company nCore. It is based on the Indian Army.
While taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Whether it’s a problem within the country or at the border…these Bharat Ke Veer always stand tall. They are our Fearless And United Guards, our FAU-G! Witness the anthem.”
Moreover, the new trailer of the game shows a glimpse of the first episode 'Ladakh Episode'. Unlike PUBG, FAU-G will have episodes/missions instead of battle royale modes. In the trailer, the Indian soldiers can be seen using assault rifles.
Earlier in December FAU-G created a record with over one million pre-registrations in just 24 hours. The game’s first teaser was released on Dusshera last year and it included a glimpse of the Galwan valley episode. The earlier teaser only showed close combat and did not reveal any weapons.
The game first was announced in July 2020 after the multiplayer game PUBG was banned in India. According to the actor, the gamers would learn more about the sacrifices of Indian soldiers. Interestingly, 20 percent of the net revenue would be donated to the Bharat Ke Veer Trust, established for the welfare of Indian soldiers.
