X (formerly Twitter) down? Social media giant shows ‘welcome to your timeline’ on feed instead of tweets

New Delhi, Dec 21: Several X (formerly known as Twitter) users are witnessing a technical snag on the micro-blogging site around 11 am on Thursday.

Both the website and the mobile application showed ‘Welcome to your timeline’ instead of the regular tweets on the feed. It seems the platform faced a massive outage and was inaccessible for users.

According to Downdetector, there are over 70,000 reports of not being able to use the platform. And, at this moment, there is no information on what has caused this issue. Users are not able to see tweets of other profiles, too
